Maria Farmer Recounts Disturbing Late-Night Encounter with Trump at Epstein’s Office
In the mid-1990s, long before the full extent of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes became public, one young woman found herself in a situation that would haunt her for decades. Artist and former Epstein associate Maria Farmer has described a chilling late-night encounter in 1995 inside Epstein’s upscale Manhattan office. Dressed casually in running shorts after being called in unexpectedly, she was alone when Donald Trump entered the room wearing a business suit.
According to Farmer, Trump stood over her, his gaze fixed intently on her bare legs in a manner that left her feeling deeply unsettled and vulnerable. The imposing presence of the then-real estate mogul sent a wave of fear through her. Moments later, Epstein appeared and reportedly told Trump, “No, no. She’s not here for you,” before the two men left the room together. Farmer has also recalled overhearing Trump make a comment suggesting he thought she was only 16 years old.
At the time, Farmer was in her mid-20s and had begun working for Epstein. She later became one of the first individuals to alert authorities about Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, reporting concerns as early as 1996 to the New York Police Department and the FBI. During those interactions, she specifically urged investigators to examine people in Epstein’s social circle, including Trump, citing this encounter as part of her broader worries. She reiterated similar information when re-interviewed by the FBI in 2006.
Farmer’s account has resurfaced in recent years amid ongoing scrutiny of Epstein’s connections to powerful figures. She has described feeling intimidated and exposed in the moment—sweaty, underdressed, and alone with two influential men in a professional setting. The experience, she said, carried an unmistakably predatory undertone. While she has not accused Trump of any sexual misconduct beyond this uncomfortable interaction, she has maintained that the episode contributed to her decision to flag his name to law enforcement.
The White House has strongly denied the claims, asserting that President Trump was never in Epstein’s office under those circumstances. Trump and Epstein were known to have socialized in New York circles during the 1980s and 1990s, with Trump once famously describing Epstein as a “terrific guy” who liked beautiful women, many on the younger side. Their relationship reportedly cooled in the early 2000s.
Farmer’s testimony adds another layer to the complex web of Epstein’s associations. As one of the earliest whistleblowers who says she was also victimized by Epstein and Maxwell, her recollections continue to draw attention as more documents and interviews surface. She has consistently positioned the 1995 incident as unsettling rather than part of any witnessed criminal act by Trump, but one that highlighted the uncomfortable dynamics in Epstein’s orbit.
