In a shocking Instagram post on March 30, 2025, Virginia Roberts Giuffre—one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most vocal accusers—shared a harrowing photo of herself bruised and battered in a hospital bed, claiming doctors had diagnosed her with acute kidney renal failure after a high-speed collision with a school bus. “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live,” she wrote, describing the crash as catastrophic and expressing readiness to die, though longing to see her children one last time.

The accident occurred on March 24 in rural Neergabby, Western Australia. Giuffre, a passenger in a car driven by a 71-year-old woman, alleged the school bus struck them at 110 km/h (about 68 mph) while slowing for a turn. She posted: “No matter what your car is made of, it might as well be a tin can.” Visible bruises covered her face, head, and torso, underscoring her claims of severe trauma.

Giuffre’s revelation stunned supporters worldwide. Known for alleging Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell trafficked her as a teenager, including three encounters with Prince Andrew (denied by him), she settled a 2022 civil suit against the prince. Her courage inspired survivors through advocacy groups like SOAR.

However, accounts diverged sharply. Western Australia Police described it as a “minor” sideswipe with $2,000 damage and no initial injuries reported. The bus driver, Ross Munns, called her claims “blown out of proportion,” noting low impact and unaware of her presence. No ambulance was called, and police weren’t immediately dispatched.

Giuffre’s family clarified she initially went home “banged up and bruised” but worsened, leading to hospitalization in “serious” condition. They noted the post was meant privately on Facebook. Spokesperson Dini von Mueffling confirmed treatment, appreciating support.

By early April, Giuffre was discharged, with reports of stability. Amid personal struggles—including separation and custody issues—the incident highlighted her vulnerabilities post-trauma.

This episode, months before her tragic suicide in April 2025, reflected ongoing battles. Giuffre’s voice exposed elite abuse, leaving a legacy of resilience despite profound pain.
