In the summer of 2019, as federal agents intensified their investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s sprawling web of crimes, they turned their attention to a seemingly unlikely figure: his longtime accountant.
The raid on the accountant’s residence unfolded quietly at first—no dramatic SWAT teams storming the front door, no flashing lights broadcast on live television. Yet what agents carried out in those suitcases would later prove far more explosive than routine financial records.
When the search warrant was executed, investigators were prepared for boxes of ledgers, tax documents, client lists, and perhaps encrypted drives containing transaction details.
