A stunned world froze as Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice unleashed a bombshell allegation: she was brutally beaten and raped by a “well-known prime minister” on Epstein’s private island in 2002 at age 18.
Giuffre, who died by suicide on April 25, 2025, at age 41, detailed the assault in unflinching prose: “He repeatedly choked me until I lost consciousness… laughed when he hurt me and got more aroused when I begged him to stop. I emerged bleeding from my mouth, vagina, and anus.” She withheld the name, fearing retaliation, but prior filings (unsealed 2019–2020) linked the “prime minister” to former Israeli leader Ehud Barak—claims he has repeatedly denied as “false and baseless.”
The memoir, released October 21, 2025, by Alfred A. Knopf and co-authored with Amy Wallace, fulfilled Giuffre’s final wish for unfiltered truth. It chronicles her grooming at 16 from Mar-a-Lago by Ghislaine Maxwell, trafficking by Epstein, and alleged assaults by elites—including Prince Andrew (named 88 times). The island attack, she wrote, left her fearing she’d “die a sex slave,” isolated and disposable.
The bombshell amplified scrutiny amid Epstein Files Transparency Act disclosures (completed December 19, no tapes). Barak called it “recycled lies”; no charges resulted. The memoir’s release triggered Andrew’s title revocation on October 30.
