‘Unsparing’ Posthumous Memoir by Virginia Giuffre Set for October Release

A highly anticipated and unflinching posthumous memoir by Virginia Giuffre, one of the most prominent and vocal survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking network, is scheduled to hit shelves in October 2025. Titled Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, the 400-page book was completed by Giuffre in collaboration with journalist and author Amy Wallace over several years before her tragic death by suicide at age 41 in April 2025.

Giuffre, formerly known as Virginia Roberts, had explicitly expressed her desire for the memoir to be published regardless of her circumstances, emphasizing its importance not only for her own story but for other victims of sexual abuse and trafficking. Her publisher, Alfred A. Knopf (a division of Penguin Random House), announced the release date as October 21, 2025, describing the work as an “unsparing and definitive account” of her experiences.

The book details Giuffre’s harrowing allegations of being recruited as a teenager, groomed, and trafficked by Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell to powerful figures, including repeated claims of sexual abuse by Britain’s Prince Andrew (which he has denied, leading to a 2022 out-of-court settlement). It promises to offer intimate insights into the systemic failures, corruption, and power dynamics that enabled such exploitation, while also chronicling her relentless advocacy for justice and support for fellow survivors.

In the lead-up to publication, excerpts shared in media outlets highlighted disturbing details of her time under Epstein’s control, including threats to remain silent and the profound psychological toll of her ordeals. The memoir is positioned as a searing indictment of institutional complicity and a testament to Giuffre’s courage in speaking out, which helped catalyze broader accountability, including Epstein’s and Maxwell’s convictions.

Giuffre’s family and advocates have framed the book’s release as a continuation of her legacy as a “fierce warrior” for victims. It arrives amid ongoing fallout from the Epstein case, including renewed scrutiny of associated figures and Giuffre’s earlier public battles. The publisher has underscored its raw, heartbreaking nature, noting that Giuffre wrote it to ensure her full story—in her own words—was finally told.

Nobody’s Girl became a #1 New York Times bestseller upon release and is available in hardcover (priced around $35), with audiobook versions narrated by Thérèse Plummer and Gabra Zackman. It can be purchased through major retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the Penguin Random House website.

This publication serves as a poignant reminder of Giuffre’s enduring impact: transforming personal trauma into a powerful call for change, even after her passing. Her unyielding voice continues to inspire efforts to combat sex trafficking and protect vulnerable individuals from exploitation by the elite.
