In her posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, released October 21, 2025—six months after her suicide on April 25, 2025—Virginia Giuffre delivers a harrowing, unsparing account of the depravity she endured on Jeffrey Epstein’s private Caribbean island, Little St. James, known infamously as “Little Saint Jeff’s.” The book, co-authored with journalist Amy Wallace, preserves her voice as a final act of defiance, detailing how what should have been a place of escape became a site of unrelenting terror.
Giuffre describes being trafficked there as a teenager, ensnared in Epstein’s network after recruitment by Ghislaine Maxwell at age 16. On the island, she alleges, the abuse escalated into organized exploitation. In one particularly devastating passage, she recounts her third alleged sexual encounter with Britain’s Prince Andrew, which she describes as occurring amid an “orgy” involving Epstein, the prince, and approximately eight other young girls—many appearing under 18 and unable to speak English, reportedly supplied by French modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel. She writes of the scene’s chaos and horror: naked bodies, coercion, and a complete erasure of consent. Survival, she says, felt impossible; she prayed to black out from the pain and humiliation, fearing she might “die a sex slave” in that isolated paradise turned prison.
The memoir portrays powerful figures who allegedly witnessed or participated in the island’s horrors yet turned away. Giuffre notes how Epstein’s elite guests—billionaires, politicians, and royals—saw the naked photos on walls, the young girls by pools, and the video monitoring rooms, yet remained silent. Prince Andrew, she alleges, treated her with entitlement, as if sex with her was his “birthright,” even in this group setting. Andrew has consistently denied all allegations, settling a 2022 civil suit without admitting liability.
Giuffre’s words underscore the terror of isolation: no escape from the island, no help from those who knew. She details sadomasochistic acts by Epstein that left her bloodied and pleading, and how the powerful “looked the other way,” their silence enabling the abuse.
