In her posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, published in October 2025, Virginia Roberts Giuffre finally laid bare the harrowing details of her two-year ordeal as a teenager trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Giuffre, who tragically died by suicide in April 2025 at age 41, had kept many of the most explosive elements of her story guarded for decades—until now. The book exposes a web of powerful figures, including royal connections, who she says exploited her on Epstein’s infamous private island, Little St. James—often called “Paedo Island” in the media.

Giuffre described being groomed at 16 while working at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, where Maxwell approached her under the guise of offering a massage job. This led to years of abuse by Epstein and his elite circle. Among the most shocking claims are her allegations of being trafficked to Britain’s Prince Andrew three times, beginning when she was 17. She recounted one encounter in London, another in New York, and a third on Little St. James—an alleged orgy involving multiple women, including underage girls from Eastern Europe, Epstein, and the prince. Giuffre wrote that Andrew “believed having sex with me was his birthright,” and that she received $15,000 afterward, money that left her feeling degraded and trapped.
The island itself, she described, was a place of unimaginable horror where young women were forced into sexual servitude amid lavish displays of wealth. Giuffre feared she “might die a sex slave” there, detailing physical and psychological torment, including being beaten and raped by other powerful men. In one particularly disturbing revelation, she claimed a “well-known prime minister” (described differently in U.S. and U.K. editions of the book) brutally assaulted her. These encounters, she said, involved coercive “rituals” of exploitation, where victims were treated as disposable objects for the entertainment of the elite.
The memoir also touches on the broader network: scientists, politicians, billionaires, and titans of industry who witnessed or participated without intervention. Giuffre emphasized Epstein’s glee in exposing victims to this world, creating a system of control through blackmail and silence.
Her disclosures contributed to seismic fallout. Just before the book’s release, Prince Andrew relinquished his remaining royal titles, including Duke of York, amid renewed scrutiny. Giuffre’s family hailed her courage as bringing down a prince, calling for further accountability. The revelations, hidden for over two decades, underscore the systemic failures that allowed such abuse to persist among the powerful.
Giuffre’s final words serve as a call for justice, urging survivors to speak out and demanding transparency from those who enabled Epstein’s crimes. Her story, though heartbreaking, continues to expose the dark underbelly of privilege and power.
