In her posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, Virginia Giuffre details one of the most savage assaults she endured: a violent rape by a “well-known prime minister” on Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, where he brutally choked, beat, and derived sadistic pleasure from her desperate pleas for her life.

Published by Alfred A. Knopf in October 2025, six months after Giuffre’s suicide at age 41, the book recounts the 2002 incident when she was 18. Trafficked to the politician in a cabana on Little St. James, Giuffre describes how he “wanted violence,” repeatedly choking her until she lost consciousness. “Horrifically, the Prime Minister laughed when he hurt me and got more aroused when I begged him to stop,” she wrote. She emerged bleeding from her mouth, vagina, and anus, in agony for days.

Terrified, Giuffre knelt and begged Epstein not to send her back. He dismissed her pleas coldly: “You’ll get that sometimes.” Despite this, Epstein later forced her into a second encounter aboard his private jet.

Giuffre withheld the man’s name, fearing retaliation—she believed he might “seek to hurt” or even kill her. In U.S. editions, he is called a “well-known prime minister”; UK versions refer to a “former minister,” possibly due to legal concerns. Some reports link descriptions to prior allegations against figures like former Israeli PM Ehud Barak, who has denied any wrongdoing.

This assault marked a turning point, shattering illusions and fueling Giuffre’s eventual escape. The memoir underscores Epstein’s network of powerful enablers and the terror victims faced. Giuffre’s unflinching account, completed before her death, continues to demand accountability amid ongoing Epstein scrutiny.
