A bombshell investigation by The Wall Street Journal, published on December 31, 2025, has revealed disturbing details about the relationship between Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort and Jeffrey Epstein in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Former employees from both Mar-a-Lago and Epstein’s staff disclosed that the club’s spa routinely dispatched young female workers—typically masseuses, manicurists, and aestheticians—to Epstein’s nearby Palm Beach mansion for private house calls providing massages, manicures, and other services.

Although Epstein was not a dues-paying member of Mar-a-Lago, Trump reportedly instructed staff to treat him as one. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate, frequently booked these appointments and even used the spa as a recruiting ground, approaching young workers about unauthorized “side jobs” for extra pay.
Despite growing concerns among spa employees, the practice continued for years. Workers warned each other about Epstein’s inappropriate behavior, including making sexually suggestive comments and exposing himself during sessions. Even Trump’s then-wife, Marla Maples, reportedly expressed unease, telling staff that something felt “wrong” and “off” about Epstein’s influence.
The house calls abruptly ended in 2003 after an 18-year-old licensed beautician returned from an appointment and alleged that Epstein had pressured her for sex. A manager faxed the complaint to Trump, urging him to ban Epstein. According to former employees, Trump responded positively and ordered Epstein barred from the club—aligning with his longstanding claim of cutting ties over Epstein being a “creep.”
The White House dismissed the report as an attempt to smear President Trump, emphasizing that he “did nothing wrong” and expelled Epstein promptly. Victims’ advocates, however, argue these revelations highlight how Epstein exploited elite networks, including proximity to power at Mar-a-Lago. Notably, Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers who tragically died by suicide earlier this year, was recruited from the spa at age 16.
As ongoing Epstein file releases continue into 2026, these accounts underscore lingering questions about accountability in Palm Beach’s high-society circles.
