On December 23, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice released a significant new batch of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s investigations, shedding fresh light on the late financier’s connections to prominent figures, including President Donald Trump.

fied federal prosecutor in New York, who noted that newly obtained flight records showed Trump had traveled on Epstein’s private jet “many more times than previously has been reported.” The logs indicate at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, a period when Trump and Epstein were known social acquaintances in New York and Palm Beach circles.
These flights were primarily short domestic trips, such as between Palm Beach, Florida, and New York-area airports, with occasional stops in Washington, D.C. Passengers on various trips included Trump’s then-wife Marla Maples, their infant daughter Tiffany, and son Eric. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate later convicted of sex trafficking, was aboard at least four of these flights.
One flight in 1993 listed only Trump and Epstein as passengers, while another included a redacted 20-year-old woman alongside them. Two other flights featured women described as potential witnesses in a prospective case against Maxwell.
Importantly, the documents contain no allegations of wrongdoing by Trump. The prosecutor flagged the flights for “situational awareness” ahead of potential charges against Maxwell. Trump has long maintained that he distanced himself from Epstein after learning of his behavior, banning him from Mar-a-Lago in the mid-2000s.
The release, part of ongoing disclosures under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, has reignited public scrutiny of Epstein’s elite network. While earlier reports noted a handful of Trump flights in the 1990s, this tranche confirms a higher frequency, though all predate Epstein’s 2008 conviction.
These details underscore the breadth of Epstein’s social ties but add no evidence implicating Trump in criminal activity. The Justice Department emphasized that some claims in the files are “unfounded and false.”
