Fresh Epstein Emails Expose Ties to Former Prince Andrew from Balmoral’s Royal Heart
The latest release of Jeffrey Epstein documents by the US Department of Justice on December 23, 2025, has uncovered emails from 2001 that strongly suggest Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, was in close contact with Ghislaine Maxwell while staying at Balmoral Castle, the royal family’s Scottish estate.

In one email dated August 16, 2001, sent from an address labeled “The Invisible Man” and signed “A,” the sender writes: “I am up here at Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family.” The message then asks Maxwell, “How’s LA? Have you found me some new inappropriate friends?” before discussing plans for a sunny vacation with “fun people.”
Maxwell replied apologetically: “So sorry to disappoint you… I have only been able to find appropriate friends.” Additional context in the emails, including references to leaving the Royal Navy (which Mountbatten-Windsor did in July 2001) and the recent death of a valet, aligns with known details of his life at the time.
These exchanges come just months after Virginia Giuffre alleged she was trafficked to Mountbatten-Windsor in March 2001—an accusation he has always denied. He settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre in 2022 without admitting liability.
Mountbatten-Windsor, stripped of his royal titles amid the Epstein scandal, has maintained he never witnessed wrongdoing and regrets the association. Representatives for him have not yet commented on the latest files.
While the emails do not prove criminal activity, they highlight the intimate nature of his connections to Epstein’s circle, originating from the private heart of the monarchy at Balmoral. As further documents emerge, scrutiny over these ties continues to intensify.
