As Prince Andrew surrendered his royal titles amid Epstein’s enduring shadow, Virginia Giuffre’s family turned their gaze across the Atlantic, demanding President Trump confront the same scrutiny over his Mar-a-Lago ties to the disgraced financier.
In October 2025, King Charles III stripped Prince Andrew of all remaining royal titles, including “Prince” and “His Royal Highness,” evicting him from Royal Lodge. The decision followed renewed scrutiny from Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl, which reiterated her allegations of three sexual encounters with Andrew in 2001—claims he denied, settling her 2022 lawsuit out of court without admission. Giuffre’s family hailed it as victory: “An ordinary American girl brought down a British prince with her truth.”
Meanwhile, Giuffre’s relatives shifted focus to President Trump. In July 2025, Trump claimed he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after the financier “stole” young employees, including Giuffre, recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2000 while working as a teenage spa attendant. The family expressed shock: “It was shocking to hear President Trump invoke our sister and say he was aware Virginia had been ‘stolen’.” They clarified Maxwell preyed on the 16-year-old, rejecting the “stolen” framing and urging no leniency for Maxwell, serving 20 years.
Giuffre, who died by suicide in April 2025, never accused Trump of wrongdoing, noting in depositions and her memoir he was gentlemanly. Yet her family demanded answers on what Trump knew, amid calls for full Epstein file releases. Recent 2025-2026 disclosures, including Mar-a-Lago subpoenas and emails, fueled debates, though no charges against Trump emerged.
The parallel falls—Andrew’s royal exile and questions over Trump’s past associations—underscore Epstein’s lasting impact, amplifying survivors’ demands for transparency across power structures.
