Long-standing rumors linking Jeffrey Epstein to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency have intensified in late 2025, fueled by leaked emails and investigative reports highlighting his deep connections to former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and other intelligence-linked figures.

Central to the speculation is Epstein’s relationship with Barak, who visited Epstein’s New York mansion dozens of times between 2013 and 2017, according to visitor logs and photos. Leaked emails, published by Drop Site News in November 2025 from a hack of Barak’s accounts, reveal Epstein facilitating deals for Israeli interests, including brokering security agreements in Mongolia and Côte d’Ivoire involving ex-Israeli intelligence officials, and advising Barak on backchannels to Russia during the Syrian civil war. In one exchange, Epstein urged Barak to delay notifying Mossad leadership—referred to as “number 1″—about a deal.
Epstein’s ties extend to Ghislaine Maxwell, whose father, British media mogul Robert Maxwell, is widely alleged to have been a Mossad asset before his mysterious 1991 yacht death. Former Israeli intelligence officer Ari Ben-Menashe has claimed since 2019 that Epstein and Ghislaine were recruited in the 1980s for Mossad “honeytrap” operations to blackmail elites.
Additional links include billionaire Les Wexner, a major pro-Israel donor who funded much of Epstein’s wealth, and Yoni Koren, a longtime Barak aide with military intelligence ties, who stayed weeks at Epstein’s residence. Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2025 DOJ transcripts, denied Epstein was a Mossad agent.
Israeli officials, including former PM Naftali Bennett, have vehemently rejected the claims as “categorically false” and antisemitic slander. Fact-checks emphasize that while ties to Israeli figures are documented, no conclusive evidence proves Epstein was a Mossad operative.
As partial Epstein file releases continue under the 2025 Transparency Act, these persistent whispers—amplified by figures like Tucker Carlson—keep scrutiny alive, raising questions about influence, blackmail, and elite networks without definitive proof.
