In a jaw-dropping clash of words and records, freshly unsealed Epstein files reveal Donald Trump jetting off on the financier’s infamous “Lolita Express” at least eight times in the 1990s—some flights cozy with Ghislaine Maxwell and a redacted young woman—shattering his repeated vows of never flying aboard.T

In a major release on December 23, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice unveiled thousands of pages from its Epstein investigations, including a 2020 prosecutor’s email revealing that President Donald Trump flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet at least eight times during the 1990s—far more than previously acknowledged. These flights, detailed in newly obtained records, occurred between 1993 and 1996, a period overlapping with Epstein’s alleged criminal activities and the timeframe prosecutors considered for charges against his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.

The email, sent by an unidentified assistant U.S. attorney in New York, noted: “Donald Trump traveled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware).” It specified that Maxwell, convicted in 2021 for sex trafficking and currently serving a 20-year sentence, was aboard at least four of those flights. Other passengers on various trips included Trump’s then-wife Marla Maples, his young daughter Tiffany, and son Eric.

Particularly striking are details of specific flights. One in 1993 listed only Trump and Epstein as passengers. Another included just three: Epstein, Trump, and a 20-year-old woman whose name remains redacted to protect privacy. Additional flights featured redacted women described as potential witnesses in a prospective Maxwell case. These domestic routes primarily shuttled between Palm Beach, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.—no records show trips to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James.

The disclosures directly contradict Trump’s repeated public denials. In a 2024 social media post, he stated: “I was never on Epstein’s Plane, or at his ‘stupid’ Island,” dismissing reports as AI-generated fabrications by political opponents. Trump has long acknowledged a past social acquaintance with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s New York and Palm Beach circles but insisted their relationship ended abruptly after a fallout, and he claimed no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.

No allegations in the released documents accuse Trump of wrongdoing or involvement in Epstein’s sex trafficking. The Justice Department emphasized that some materials contain “untrue and sensationalist claims” submitted to the FBI, without specifying which. Flight logs, previously partial exhibits in Maxwell’s trial, now appear in fuller context, confirming associations but not criminality.

This batch, part of ongoing releases under the Epstein Files Transparency Act signed by Trump, includes over 30,000 pages of photos, emails, and records. Critics from both parties have decried heavy redactions and delays, with millions more pages pending review into 2026. Victims’ advocates express frustration over protected identities and slow progress.

The revelations revive scrutiny of Trump’s proximity to Epstein during a decade when the financier’s abuses allegedly escalated. While many elites appear in Epstein’s orbit—former President Bill Clinton among them—Trump’s documented flights and past denials fuel partisan debates. As more files emerge, they highlight enduring questions about influence, access, and accountability in elite networks, without delivering new evidence of misconduct against the president.

Ultimately, these documents underscore how old associations persist in public memory, clashing with personal narratives in an era demanding transparency.
