In her unflinching posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, Virginia Roberts Giuffre exposes the harrowing sexual abuse she endured at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Prince Andrew himself.

Published in October 2025 by Alfred A. Knopf, the book was completed before Giuffre’s tragic suicide in April 2025 at age 41. Co-written with journalist Amy Wallace, it fulfills her explicit wish for release, shedding light on the systemic failures that enabled her trafficking.
Giuffre recounts being recruited at 16 while working at Mar-a-Lago, groomed by Maxwell—an “apex predator”—and trafficked into Epstein’s web of exploitation. She details sadomasochistic acts with Epstein and Maxwell, and being forced into sexual encounters with powerful men.
Central to the memoir are allegations against Prince Andrew (then Duke of York). Giuffre describes three encounters starting in March 2001, when she was 17: first in London after a nightclub outing, then in New York, and finally in an orgy on Epstein’s private island involving Epstein, Andrew, and eight other young girls, some appearing underage and non-English speaking.
She portrays Andrew as “entitled,” believing sex with her was his “birthright.” Maxwell allegedly praised her performance, and Epstein paid her $15,000. Giuffre feared she might “die a sex slave” under their control.
The book also reveals abuse by a “well-known prime minister” (described variably in editions) and early childhood molestation. Despite settling with Andrew in 2022—he denied wrongdoing and regretted his Epstein association—Giuffre sought accountability.
Nobody’s Girl has sold over a million copies, reigniting scrutiny of Epstein’s network. Giuffre’s courage, from victim to advocate founding a survivors’ charity, inspires amid profound tragedy.
