Published in October 2025, six months after Virginia Giuffre’s tragic suicide at age 41, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice delivers a harrowing first-person account of her exploitation by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Co-written with journalist Amy Wallace and completed before her death, the book fulfills Giuffre’s explicit wish for its release, ensuring her voice endures.

Central to the memoir are Giuffre’s allegations against Prince Andrew (now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor), detailing three alleged sexual encounters when she was 17. The first occurred in March 2001 at Maxwell’s London townhouse. Giuffre recounts Maxwell excitedly telling her, “Just like Cinderella, I was going to meet a handsome prince!” Upon meeting Andrew, then 41, he correctly guessed her age as 17, noting his daughters were “just a little younger.” Maxwell allegedly joked about “trading her in soon.”

That evening, after a nightclub visit where Andrew reportedly sweated profusely while dancing, Giuffre claims they had sex in a bathroom. Reflecting years later, she describes Andrew as “friendly enough but entitled—as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright.” The memoir alleges two further encounters: one in Epstein’s New York mansion and another on his private island, described as part of an “orgy.”

Giuffre’s unflinching narrative portrays her fear of dying “a sex slave” under Epstein’s control, while accusing Andrew’s team of attempts to discredit her, including hiring online trolls. Though Andrew settled her 2021 civil suit in 2022 with a multimillion-pound payment and charity donation—without admitting liability—he has always denied the allegations.

The book’s release intensified scrutiny, contributing to Andrew’s relinquishment of titles and honors. For survivors, Giuffre’s raw testimony remains a powerful refusal to let these claims fade, demanding ongoing accountability amid Epstein’s lingering shadow.
