Virginia Giuffre, the courageous Epstein accuser whose allegations exposed ties between Jeffrey Epstein and global elites, including Britain’s Prince Andrew, left behind a poignant handwritten note discovered among her belongings after her tragic death. Found at her Western Australian farm where she passed away on April 25, 2025, the note urges survivors and families to stand together against exploitation, reflecting her lifelong commitment to justice.
Giuffre, who died by suicide at age 41, had been a beacon for victims since going public in 2011. Recruited at 16 while working at Mar-a-Lago, she endured years of trafficking by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Her fearless testimony helped convict Maxwell in 2021 and led to a 2022 settlement with Prince Andrew, who denied wrongdoing but paid an undisclosed sum supporting her charity.
The note, shared by her family shortly after her death, reads: “We are not going to go away. Mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers need to show the battlelines are drawn and we stand together to fight for the future of victims. Is protesting the answer—I don’t know, but we’ve got to start somewhere.” Her brother Sky Roberts and sister-in-law Amanda Roberts posted it upon learning of a Washington, D.C., protest honoring survivors, emphasizing Giuffre’s wish: “Her voice will not be silenced… we continue to fight.”
Though not intended as a farewell—clarified by her representatives—the words carry profound weight amid her struggles. Giuffre faced lifelong trauma from abuse, a recent car accident causing severe injuries, and personal challenges. Her family described her as a “fierce warrior” whose light lifted many, yet the toll proved unbearable.
Posthumously, Giuffre’s memoir Nobody’s Girl, released in October 2025, became a bestseller, detailing her ordeals and resilience. It reignited scrutiny of Epstein’s network, with her family vowing to pursue accountability through ongoing estate proceedings and advocacy.
