In her posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, published in October 2025, Virginia Giuffre delivers a harrowing, unfiltered account of her alleged sexual encounters with Prince Andrew, pulling back the curtain on Jeffrey Epstein’s predatory network of power and privilege.

Giuffre, who died by suicide in April 2025 at age 41, recounts being trafficked to the then-Duke of York on three separate occasions when she was a teenager. The first alleged encounter occurred in March 2001 at Ghislaine Maxwell’s London home. Giuffre describes Maxwell excitedly telling her, in a singsong voice, “Just like Cinderella, I was going to meet a handsome prince!” At 17, she was dressed up and taken to dinner, where Andrew, then 41, correctly guessed her age, noting his daughters were “just a little younger.” Maxwell reportedly joked, “I guess we will have to trade her in soon.”

That evening, after visiting Tramp nightclub—where Giuffre says Andrew sweated profusely while dancing—they returned to Maxwell’s house. Giuffre alleges she ran Andrew a bath before they had sex in the bathroom. Reflecting on his demeanor, she writes he was “friendly enough, but still entitled—as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright.”

The memoir details two further alleged assaults: one in New York a month later, and another on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands. The island encounter, Giuffre claims, was an “orgy” involving Epstein, Andrew, herself, and approximately eight other young girls who appeared under 18 and spoke little English. Epstein allegedly laughed, calling them “the easiest girls to get along with.” Giuffre quotes her 2015 deposition: “Epstein, Andy, and approximately eight other young girls, and I had sex together.”

These revelations, co-written with journalist Amy Wallace, intensify scrutiny on Andrew, who settled Giuffre’s 2022 civil lawsuit with a substantial undisclosed sum—without admitting liability—and has always vigorously denied wrongdoing. The book also claims Andrew’s team attempted to hire online trolls to harass her and that he evaded legal service by hiding at Balmoral.

Giuffre’s unflinching narrative exposes Epstein’s empire as a web of elite complicity, where vulnerable girls were groomed and trafficked. Despite her tragic end, her words endure as a powerful testament to survival and a demand for accountability from the highest echelons.
