In April 2025, amid a tumultuous divorce and health crisis, Virginia Giuffre—the fearless Epstein accuser who confronted Prince Andrew—vigorously denied allegations that she violated a family violence restraining order obtained by her estranged husband, Robert Giuffre. Facing a court hearing scheduled for April 9 in Western Australia, Giuffre insisted her conduct stayed strictly within legal limits and aligned with her lifelong pursuit of truth and justice.
The restraining order stemmed from bitter custody disputes over their three teenage children. Robert filed it in February 2025, shortly after Giuffre publicly alleged years of domestic abuse by him, including a January incident that left her with severe injuries like a cracked sternum. Giuffre planned to seek protection herself but claimed Robert “beat her to the punch,” weaponizing the system against her. She was accused of breaching it on February 2, reportedly by texting him—an act she and her representatives dismissed as baseless.
“Virginia looks forward to defending herself against his malicious claim,” her spokeswoman stated in early April, emphasizing Giuffre’s hospitalization in serious condition after a March car accident. From her hospital bed, bruised and battling renal failure, Giuffre prioritized her children’s welfare, expressing deep concern while recovering. Giuffre’s defiance mirrored her unyielding advocacy.
