In a chilling revelation from the latest unsealed Epstein files, a 2001 email—sent from Balmoral royal estate under the alias “The Invisible Man” and signed “A”—bluntly asks Ghislaine Maxwell: “Have you found me some new inappropriate friends?” The message, dripping with entitlement, details plans for a sunny getaway with “fun people,” starkly contradicting Prince Andrew’s long-standing public denials of any improper conduct or deep involvement in Epstein’s predatory circle.T

A newly released email from February 28, 2011—uncovered in October 2025 reporting—shows Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, writing to Jeffrey Epstein the day after the infamous photograph of him with Virginia Giuffre was published: “I’m just as concerned for you! Don’t worry about me! It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it. Otherwise, keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon!!!!”

This message, signed with references to his royal titles, directly contradicts Mountbatten-Windsor’s repeated public assertions that he severed all contact with Epstein following their December 2010 meeting in New York. In his disastrous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis, he claimed: “I ceased contact with him after… that was when I said to him, ‘Look, because of what has happened, I don’t think it is appropriate that we should remain in contact.'” He insisted there was “never any contact” afterward.

The email’s sympathetic tone—”we are in this together”—and suggestion to “play some more soon” paint a picture of ongoing camaraderie, undermining his portrayal of a clean break intended to end the friendship. Maitlis later reflected that the revelation proved he “lied” about the timeline.

This contradiction fueled Mountbatten-Windsor’s October 2025 decision to relinquish his Duke of York title, followed by King Charles formally stripping all remaining honors. It compounded earlier scrutiny from Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, detailing alleged assaults, and financial ties revelations.

The email resurfaced amid broader Epstein disclosures, including December 2025 files showing 2001-2002 exchanges where Mountbatten-Windsor allegedly asked Ghislaine Maxwell for “new inappropriate friends” and young women arrangements. Though those predate the claimed cutoff, the 2011 message exposes post-2010 contact.

Mountbatten-Windsor has denied wrongdoing, settling Giuffre’s 2022 civil suit without liability admission. No criminal charges exist. Yet, the email raises urgent questions: How deep did deceptions run? Did he mislead investigators offering cooperation? As he faces Royal Lodge eviction and Christmas exclusion, the scandal erodes remaining credibility, prompting calls for full testimony.

Victims’ advocates argue such contradictions highlight elite impunity. With more files expected, the “we are in this together” phrase haunts Mountbatten-Windsor’s legacy, symbolizing entanglement he long denied.
