In her posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, published in October 2025, Virginia Roberts Giuffre delivers a harrowing account of her alleged sexual encounters with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew. Giuffre, who tragically died by suicide in April 2025 at age 41, details three instances of abuse, painting a picture of coercion, entitlement, and exploitation that continues to reverberate through the British monarchy and beyond.

Giuffre recounts meeting the then-prince in March 2001 at Ghislaine Maxwell’s London townhouse. At just 17, she was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell. Excited yet naive, she posed for the now-infamous photograph with Andrew’s arm around her waist, Maxwell grinning beside them. That evening, after dining and visiting Tramp nightclub—where Andrew reportedly sweated profusely while dancing—Giuffre alleges Maxwell instructed her: “Do for Andrew what you do for Jeffrey.”

Back at the house, Giuffre describes running Andrew a bath before he allegedly rushed into intercourse. “He seemed in a rush,” she writes, noting the encounter lasted less than 30 minutes. Afterward, Maxwell reportedly patted her on the back, saying, “You did well. The prince had fun.” Giuffre felt like a “toy to be passed around,” describing Andrew as “friendly enough but entitled—as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright.”

She alleges two further encounters: one in New York and another during an orgy on Epstein’s private island. These claims, which Andrew has categorically denied, led to a 2022 civil settlement for an undisclosed sum—rumored to be millions—with no admission of liability.

The memoir’s release intensified scrutiny. Extracts revealed Andrew’s alleged attempts to discredit Giuffre, including hiring “internet trolls” and passing her personal details to a bodyguard for investigation. Leaked 2011 emails contradicted his claims of severing ties with Epstein. In response, King Charles III stripped Andrew of all titles and honors in October 2025, reducing him to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Giuffre’s family hailed it as “victory,” with brother Sky Roberts tearfully declaring, “An ordinary American girl brought down a prince.”

Giuffre’s story began as a vulnerable teen recruited at Mar-a-Lago. Groomed into Epstein’s trafficking ring, she endured years of abuse before escaping at 19, rebuilding her life in Australia with her family. She founded advocacy groups for survivors, becoming a fierce voice against powerful predators.

Yet the toll was immense. In her final months, amid personal struggles including a reported car accident and separation, Giuffre’s courage shone through her words. Nobody’s Girl not only exposes alleged elite complicity but demands accountability. Even in death, her revelations challenge institutions protecting the powerful, reminding us that survivors’ truths, though chilling, deserve unwavering attention.
