Among the thousands of pages and photos posted to the DOJ’s “Epstein Library” site were several images of Donald Trump with Epstein at social events, including well-known photos from a Mar-a-Lago party in the 1990s–2000s (e.g., Trump grinning alongside Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Melania Knauss in 2000, or other gatherings with women in attendance).
These are longstanding public images showing only social ties from their friendship era—no new evidence of wrongdoing by Trump emerged. One photo file was briefly removed (then reposted) during initial uploads, sparking temporary speculation, but the DOJ cited routine review procedures.
President Trump dismissed the releases as a “witch hunt” and “hoax” distraction. While the disclosures fueled partisan debate and some MAGA frustration over perceived incomplete transparency (e.g., heavy redactions and delays), there are no reports of widespread backlash among celebrity supporters like Kid Rock, Hulk Hogan, or Roseanne Barr—no statements distancing themselves, canceled endorsements, or “scrambling” amid fan fury tied specifically to these photos. As of early January 2026, such high-profile defections remain unsubstantiated.
