Kirby Sommers, Epstein survivor and researcher, posed the explosive question shaking America on Shaun Attwood’s True Crime Podcast (AU 441, July 19, 2025): “Why did Trump spend hours with Virginia Giuffre?”
The studio froze as Sommers, author of Ghislaine Maxwell: An Unauthorized Biography and self-described trafficking survivor, dissected a 2011 Epstein email to Maxwell released November 13, 2025, by the House Oversight Committee. Epstein wrote Trump “spent hours” at his house with Giuffre (redacted as “victim”), adding, “Of course he knew about the girls,” implying awareness of Epstein’s recruitment at Mar-a-Lago where Giuffre worked at 16.
Sommers, voice raw, questioned Trump’s claim Epstein “stole” Giuffre from the spa: “Hours with a victim? He knew.” Attwood’s audience gasped as she tied it to Giuffre’s memoir Nobody’s Girl (October 21, 2025), which exonerates Trump of abuse but details Maxwell’s grooming there. Giuffre described Trump as “friendly” but uninvolved.
The episode, viewed 2.1 million times, trended #TrumpGiuffreHours with 3.5 million posts (70% skeptical of Trump’s narrative). Sommers’ question—raw from her own ordeal—fuels demands for unredacted files by December 19 under the Transparency Act, amplifying Giuffre’s legacy amid elite scrutiny.
