Reports from 2020, resurfaced amid the 2025 Epstein file releases, confirm that Adam Perry Lang, Jeffrey Epstein’s former private chef from approximately 1999–2003, cooperated with federal investigators probing Epstein’s sex-trafficking network.

Lang, a celebrity chef known for his Hollywood restaurant APL and collaborations with figures like Jimmy Kimmel, was identified in unsealed court documents and flight logs as having traveled on Epstein’s private jet multiple times. In September 2020, his attorney, Lawrence Lustberg, stated to The Daily Beast that Lang was “fully cooperating” with New York prosecutors investigating Epstein’s associates. Lang, who has not been accused of wrongdoing, maintained he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal activities during his employment, limiting his role to meal preparation.

The cooperation stemmed from outreach by Virginia Giuffre, who sought Lang as a potential witness in her cases. A 2020 podcast episode of Broken: Seeking Justice detailed Giuffre’s unsuccessful attempt to contact Lang directly, after which his legal team confirmed his assistance to authorities. No public updates indicate ongoing or renewed cooperation in 2025, despite the Epstein Files Transparency Act’s disclosures.

Lang’s involvement highlights the broad net cast over Epstein’s household staff, many of whom, like pilot Larry Visoski and house manager Juan Alessi, provided testimony without implication in crimes. The 2025 file releases have revived interest in such figures
