In late March 2025, Virginia Giuffre, the courageous Epstein survivor who accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse (allegations he denied, settling out of court in 2022), shocked the world with a graphic Instagram selfie from a hospital bed. Showing severe bruising on her face and body, she claimed a school bus had collided with her car at high speed, causing kidney failure. “They’ve given me four days to live,” she wrote, expressing desperation to see her children one last time.
The post, shared publicly on March 30, sparked global concern and media frenzy. Western Australia police described the March 24 incident near her Neergabby farm as a “minor crash” with no initial injuries reported and minimal damage. Speculation arose, including questions about her personal struggles amid a divorce and custody issues.
Days later, Giuffre’s family issued a statement clarifying the alarm. The post was intended for a private Facebook group, mistakenly going public. “Virginia thought that she had posted on her private Facebook page,” they said. She was in “serious condition” receiving care after her symptoms worsened post-accident, but not facing imminent death. Giuffre expressed gratitude for the support, overwhelmed by the response.
