15 minutes ago, a horrific incident occurred at Schiphol International Airport in Amsterdam when a commercial plane crashed into the ground shortly after takeoff. There were loud explosions, and no one had time to react to the incident. Everything happened so quickly, and as the smoke billowed from the scene, all that remained was chaos and despair.

The plane, flight number XY132, was about to depart from Amsterdam Airport at 14:15 local time. According to witnesses, as soon as the plane left the runway, it suddenly lost control and crashed into the ground in a violent collision. A loud explosion was heard, and a plume of black smoke billowed from the scene, leaving everyone in the nearby area speechless. Everything happened in a few seconds, but it felt like a century had passed. The scene after the accident was truly devastating, with the plane’s debris scattered all over the area, creating a scene that no one could forget.

A witness, Peter de Vries, who was standing near the airport area, said: “I saw the plane taking off, then suddenly it crashed to the ground. I heard a very loud bang, then smoke billowed out. Everyone around was panicking, no one had time to react. In just a few seconds, the plane was smashed into pieces.”
People standing nearby rushed to the nearest area, while airport staff immediately called the rescue team and emergency services. Other witnesses also described the atmosphere as being chaotic, with screams, ambulance sirens and small explosions coming from the wreckage of the plane.
As soon as rescue forces arrived at the scene, they quickly sealed off the area and deployed rescue and ambulance teams. Emergency workers rushed to the scene, where the plane was almost completely destroyed. Some passengers were confirmed to have escaped in time, but the situation was tense as the number of people missing in the fire increased.
A rescue worker shared: “We arrived very quickly but there was really not much we could do. The plane had exploded, and everything around was just a pile of rubble. The rescue team is trying to find survivors in the wreckage, but the probability of survival is very low.”
The rescue workers performed emergency measures quickly and rushed the injured to the emergency room. But the chaos continued, and the plane, along with the debris, was burning fiercely, making the rescue work very difficult.
About 20 minutes after the accident, the survivors were taken to the nearest hospital. At the hospital, doctors began working nonstop, trying to save the surviving passengers. A doctor at VU Medical said: “We are doing everything we can. The patients are in a very critical condition. The powerful explosion has left many seriously injured, and we cannot confirm the exact number of fatalities until the situation has stabilized.”

As hospital staff tried to resuscitate the patients, all who witnessed could feel the desperation in the air. The entire emergency room was filled with patients with serious injuries, and many did not survive.
As soon as the incident was confirmed, international media immediately reported the tragedy. Social media quickly exploded with hashtags such as #PrayForAmsterdam, #AirCrash, #Schiphol, while football fans, organizations and airline staff sent their prayers for the victims.
Condolences also quickly poured in from everywhere, from politicians to celebrities. International organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) also issued statements, calling for a prompt investigation into the crash and support to the families of the victims.
After about an hour, confirmed news of missing and dead people began to be released. The death toll continued to rise and the final figure was expected to be very high. Airport officials also confirmed that the plane crashed near a residential area, affecting not only the passengers but also those on the ground.

An investigation was immediately launched to clarify the cause of the crash. Was it due to a technical problem, or were there other factors behind this tragedy? The answer is still unknown. Meanwhile, memorial candles were lit in vigils for the victims, and people around the world continued to pray for the affected families. This tragedy will certainly leave a scar in everyone’s heart, and it will take a long time to recover from this pain.
