A mother of two children in india has her face severely disfigured by a rare tumor that has been growing non-stop for the past 10 years.

Li's face was deformed because of 7 tumors growing on it.

Li Hongfan, 40 years old, was shunned by everyone because her face was constantly swollen. This disease is a form of bone cancer that affects tissue growth.

The disease began to attack Li in 2001 when she noticed a small, swollen lump on her forehead. But she didn’t pay too much attention to it because it didn’t cause pain or itching.

The tumor has been slowly growing on Li's face for the past 10 years and has not stopped.

Four years later, during a medical examination, doctors discovered that she had seven tumors growing on her face. At that time, Li was living with her ex-husband and two sons in Tianchao village, Qianxian district, Shaanxi province, China.

Li's first husband died not long after she was diagnosed with bone cancer.

However, Li could not afford the 600,000 yuan (about 80,000 USD) treatment cost and was forced to watch them slowly grow on his face.

“I know a lot of people when they see me think I’m a monster, but I’m just a normal woman and a mother. We don’t have much money but we are very happy and we love each other” – Li confided.
